How difficult is the process for getting one of these? I still have two years before I am doing the trail, but it does not hurt to be prepared!

This is easy … On the PCTA (pct association) site, they have a window before thru hike season to go online to apply. I’m still waiting on the Entry Into Canada permit. More info here: http://www.pcta.org/discover-the-trail/permits/
