Bio: Resident alien. Both figuratively and literally. Hiking the pain away, one mile at a time... or at least trying to. Born in Sweden, lived in Finland for a few years then moved to Denmark so my mom could follow her church which then led her to move to Los Angeles, CA. All by the tender age of 8. 4 different countries with 4 different languages. No wonder I can't stay in one place for too long without going stir crazy.

  1. Cheers from another wanderer who’ll be on the PCT this summer! Actually, I’ll also be endeavoring to walk the pain away — in my case, from Lyme Disease. I’m looking forward to following and, perhaps, meeting you. Happy trails!

  2. Oh this is all getting so exciting! I leave April 26 at the latest and I am so excited to meet so many new hikers and the solid thru hikers. This is my second attempt and my first attempt turned into a section hike of the SoCal section. I’ve done all of Southern Oregon but not past Crater lake. This is it! It’s under 60 days and I will hike up behind you so please save some water for me in the desert sections. I hope we can meet and have lunch in the shade some where!

  3. Hey! So excited for the adventure you’re about to do! Wondering if you know your itinerary. It would be so cool to feature your trip during different sections to see your progress and feature your trip on our blog!

    • I’m starting April 11th. Planning on hitting Mt Laguna by Tuesday … Wednesday at the latest (depending on extent of any blisters :)) but, besides that don’t have exact itinerary yet since I want to test my day to day endurance so after about a week, should know more. Want to finish by my 30th birthday on September 12. Will most definitely be posting on IG and here along the way. Let me know if you’d like any more details!! 🙂

  4. Hey! You don’t know me, but we’ve got a mutual friend, Kimchi. She said I needed to talk to you – see, Kimchi and I are collaborating on a hiking podcast this summer while she hikes the AT. We’d like to have another collaborator telling stories from the PCT, and she thought of you. Do you think you’d have any interest? If you are intrigued at all, shoot me an email at soundsofthetrail@gmail.com and I will tell you more. I love your blog so far, and I hope you’ll get back to me. -Gizmo
